01 — OVERVIEW & SCOPE

1. Commitment to Developer Privacy

Knolink ("Knolink", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Knolink developer ecosystem, including knolink.co.za, Entropy IDE (entropy.knolink.co.za), Apolemia (apolemia.knolink.co.za), Knolink Chat (chat.knolink.co.za), Pach (pach.knolink.co.za), Knolink Cloud (cloud.knolink.co.za), and Praxis (praxis.knolink.co.za).

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which we collect, use, maintain, and disclose information collected from users ("User", "you") of the Knolink platform and applications.

02 — INFORMATION COLLECTION

2. Data We Collect

We collect information that you directly provide when creating an account, authenticating via third-party providers, or interacting with our services:

  • Account Identity Information: Full name, work email address, profile avatar image, and authentication identifiers.
  • Third-Party OAuth Credentials: When you choose to authenticate using Google OAuth or GitHub OAuth, we receive your verified email address, public profile name, and unique user identifier as permitted by your third-party account permissions. We do not access your private repositories, Google Drive files, or unauthorized scopes.
  • Developer Workspace & Telemetry Data: Diagnostic crash reports, AST build telemetry, command execution logs, and runtime metrics necessary to maintain service stability and cloud resource allocation.
  • Billing & Subscription Records: Transaction identifiers, active subscription tiers, and payment status handled securely by our PCI-compliant payment processors. We do not store full credit card numbers on Knolink servers.
03 — DATA UTILIZATION

3. How We Use Collected Information

Knolink utilizes collected user data exclusively for the following operational purposes:

Authentication & SSO

To provision Single Sign-On (SSO) sessions and verify identity across all Knolink subdomains and desktop clients.

Service Delivery

To provide web container execution, cloud compute clusters, and distributed model inference routines.

Security & Governance

To detect and prevent unauthorized platform misuse, DDoS threats, API rate abuse, and credential stuffing.

Communication

To send service availability notifications, transactional receipts, and critical security advisories.

04 — SECURITY ARCHITECTURE

4. Data Protection, Storage & Isolation

All user data in transit is encrypted using modern TLS 1.3 cryptographic protocols. Databases and cloud workspaces are protected by Row-Level Security (RLS), isolated memory enclaves, and enterprise-grade Cloudflare network perimeters.

We NEVER sell, trade, or rent developer personal information or source code to data brokers, third-party advertisers, or unauthorized external entities.

05 — USER RIGHTS & DATA RETENTION

5. Your Rights & Data Deletion

In compliance with global data privacy frameworks (including POPIA and GDPR), you retain the following rights:

  • Access & Portability: Request a full copy of your account profile, telemetry history, and active service subscriptions.
  • Correction & Rectification: Modify your personal identity details, email address, and API keys via the Knolink Console.
  • Right to Erasure (Account Deletion): You may request permanent deletion of your account, database records, and associated data by emailing admin@knolink.co.za.
